David Coulthard in an interview with the Dutch website formule1.nl spoke about Max Verstappen: “Verstappen’s era may be over after the two titles. Not because he is not a brilliant driver, however, he might not have a title car in the next seasons. No one knows in advance.”

“Also winning with a competitive car is not easy just as Hamilton does not need nine world titles to be considered one of the greatest drivers in the sport, Max does not need three to be considered one of the best. Max is already among the greats and it is idiotic to say that he achieved these results just because he had a good car. After all, none of his teammates have been able to match him. Max is a beast on the track and he manages not to care what is said about him, he is himself a machine.”
