F1, Mick Schumacher breaks silence and vents
Mick Schumacher goes down flat
First the farewell to Haas, then the long silence interspersed only by brief statements in which he confirmed that he wanted to stay in F1: Mick Schumacher, however, wanted to explain his feelings flatly, without hiding, during a long interview with the German portal ‘Auto Motor und Sport’.
“What do I think about Haas’ decision? In a way it is disappointing,” he explained, “because I think I did a good job this year. The team made a different decision and I have to accept it. Now I have to focus on the future.”
There are many rumors about the future of the great Michael’s son, but he confirms what he has said in recent weeks, without hiding an outburst against his critics: “I definitely want to stay in Formula 1 and I am now evaluating the available options,” he said. “I hope to take the right opportunity. I would like to prove everyone who does not believe in me wrong. I know what I can do, I’ve proven it in the lower categories, and I don’t see why I shouldn’t be able to do the same in Formula 1.”
