Rio Ferdinand is at it again. The former British defender in 2021 snubbed Italy before the European Championship final, speaking of “vastly superior England.”

On the eve of the match against reigning world champions France, Ferdinand granted an encore with some swaggering statements, “I look at France and say to myself, Mbappé is my only concern. I don’t mean any disrespect to others, but the way the English team is built, if we can contain Mbappé, everything else is managed,” his words to the BBC.

“Whereas we, if Rashford is blocked, we have Foden. If Foden is blocked, we have Harry Kane. And Saka, Bellingham … And even Jordan scores goals. It’s the best English national team I’ve ever seen,” the former Manchester United man already sang victory.
