Germani Brescia strikes a blow
Ryan Taylor is a new player for Germani Brescia
Germani Brescia announced that it has added American athlete Ryan Taylor, a small forward from Apollon Patras, a team that plays in the Greek top league, to its roster until the end of the season. Born in 1995, Taylor, who is at his first experience in the Italian league, will wear jersey number 12.
The player will be officially presented to the press during a press conference to be held on Friday, December 16, at 3:30 p.m. at the operational headquarters in San Zeno Naviglio (BS).
Born Feb. 1, 1995, in Gary, Indiana State, Ryan Taylor is a product of Northwestern University, an Athenaeum to which he had landed after a year at Ohio University and two years at the University of Evansville. Not selected at the 2019 draft, he wore the jersey of the Santa Cruz Warriors (a team affiliated with the Golden State Warriors franchise) until 2021, the year in which he made his first overseas experience, wearing the jersey of Iraklis Thessaloniki, a team in the Greek league, for nine games.
He returned to the Santa Cruz Warriors in early 2022, then landed in New Zealand (7 games on the roster of the Canterbury Rams, averaging 10.8 points per game) and, finally, returned to Greece, wearing the jersey of Apollon Patras, with which he played 7 games, putting up an average of 15.7 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.
