Another injury at Juventus: Bonucci also sits out
Defender also stops
More bad news for Juventus and Massimiliano Allegri after the one concerning Paul Pogba’s condition. In fact, during training on Tuesday, Dec. 13, Leonardo Bonucci experienced adductor discomfort, which was checked on Wednesday morning.
“The examinations to which Leonardo Bonucci underwent this morning, following a reported problem at the end of yesterday’s training, showed an inflammation of the long adductor tendon. His condition will be re-evaluated in 10 days,” reads the note released by the Bianconeri club through its official channels.
Juventus will return to the field on January 4 and will do so in the challenge on the Cremonese pitch: it is hoped that the number 19 will be able to recover for that date but his presence is still to be considered in strong doubt.
