“Marc Marquez was more cannibalistic, but Valentino Rossi could overtake you at any time.”
Former MotoGp centaur Jorge Lorenzo in an interview with Motorbike Magazine has returned to compare his two great rivals, Marc Marquez and Valentino Rossi, highlighting the strengths of both motorcycle champions.
“Marquez always wanted to win, regardless of whether he was comfortable or whether he liked the circuit or not, he never threw in the towel or was content. And in that respect, I think he was more ‘cannibalistic.’
“But Valentino Rossi was a rider who always braked at the last, and he was very creative, he could come up with an overtake at any time.”
