Torino, Ivan Juric speaks out on the winter market
For Ivan Juric, Torino needs “a footballer of substance”
In Sunday’s match against Salernitana, Torino will try to boost its morale a few days after a home draw against the last in the class, Hellas Verona. In the press conference presenting the match, Ivan Juric also talked about what is needed in terms of soccer market to try to raise the bar.
“I think the club is on the same line as me,” said the Croatian coach. “Then it depends on the economic possibilities. It seems to me that they want to not say settle for me but definitely improve or complete the roster, respecting my ideas.”
“This is my feeling, then we have to see if there are players on the market that can improve us. What do we need? A player of substance,” Juric explained. The names on the notebook of D.S. Davide Vagnati are those of Dennis Praet, Diego Martin Rossi and Tommaso Pobega, all aimed at reinforcing a midfield where often, due to injuries, the coach has had to make a virtue of necessity.
