Federica Brignone promises battle in Cortina
Federica Brignone commented with some regret on her second place in St.Anton
By 15 hundredths, Federica Brignone failed to repeat Saturday’s victory in the SuperG in St.Anton, and had to settle for second place behind Lara Gut-Behrami: “A very good Sunday, I’m happy, although I admit there is a bit of regret.”
“I didn’t manage to have the same feeling as yesterday, but it’s okay anyway,” continued the Valle d’Aosta racer. “My goal for the next occasions will be to try again that feeling on skis.
Now there’s Cortina: “I really want to do well, but it’s also a big responsibility because you almost feel like you have to make a great performance. I have never been on the podium when we competed there, so hitting that goal is a bit of a dream of mine.”
