Elena Curtoni doesn’t hide a little regret
Elena Curtoni in top 10 in Cortina
Satisfied with her eighth place in the downhill in Cortina (won by Sofia Goggia), Elena Curtoni commented to the official Fisi channels about her race, without hiding a little regret for a couple of smears without which she could have achieved an even better result.
“I skied less well after Scarpadon, where I lost there and in the last ramp before Rumerlo where I should have done better,” said the 31-year-old. “In the middle part I pushed the turns better, I got into position a lot today and I’m happy with my skiing.”
Curtoni also dedicated a thought to Corinne Suter, victim of a bad fall: “I hope it’s nothing serious,” she said.
