Ferrari, released the name of the 2023 single-seater car
Ferrari has announced the name of the 2023 single-seater
Ferrari has disclosed the name of the car that will take to the track in the 2023 Formula 1 World Championship and did so in a statement released through the Maranello-based team’s official channels.
“Scuderia Ferrari’s 2023 single-seater, which will be unveiled in exactly seven days in Maranello, has a name: it will be called the SF-23. The team is thus returning to the name that has characterized almost the entire hybrid era of Formula 1. The initials SF-which stands for Scuderia Ferrari-in fact, debuted on the SF15-T in 2015 and was dropped only last year, with the F1-75. The figure obviously indicates the racing season that the car will be going into,” the note reads.
“It is the eighth single-seater to have the abbreviation SF in its name, which for the fourth time follows the racing year. On two occasions the years since the founding of the company have been celebrated (with the SF70H, SF71H of 2017 and 2018), on one occasion those since the creation of the Scuderia (with the SF90 of 2019), and on one, in 2020, the milestone of one thousand Grands Prix disputed (SF1000),” Ferrari’s statement continues.
