Final Eight Italian Cup, all of Pozzecco’s predictions

From February 15 to 19, the Final Eight of the Italian Cup will be staged in Turin. CT Pozzecco has his favorites: “Milan and Virtus are favorites. But the great thing is that with this formula everything is possible and everyone lives in hope of winning,” his words to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The national team coach knows that, in the Italian Cup, unexpected surprises can always happen: “Surprise? Venice, I would have said that even before the change of coach.” This is the schedule for the quarterfinals. It starts tomorrow with Olimpia Milano-Brescia (6 p.m.) and Pesaro-Varese (8:45 p.m.). Thursday the other two games, namely Virtus Bologna-Venice (6 p.m.) and Derthona-Trento (8:45 p.m.). The final is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 19, at 8:45 p.m.
