Inter, Simone Inzaghi outspoken on Barella case
Simone Inzaghi: “Barella gets nervous because he cares so much about the cause.”
Inter coach Simone Inzaghi spoke in a press conference on the eve of the league match against Udinese. In the spotlight again Nicolò Barella after the quarrel between the Sardinian midfielder and Romelu Lukaku during Monday night’s match against Sampdoria.
“Barella cares so much for the cause, he has a great charge and always wants to win. It is normal that this charge sometimes makes him nervous, but we all know what kind of guy he is and I have great confidence in him.”
On the criticism following the disappointing draw with the Dorians: “We always seek victory. In Genoa fate was not our friend, we probably should have been more bad and precise in the goal area, but the team had the right attitude and tried to win the game until the 95th minute.”
