Milan, a top English player steps up for Rafael Leao
On the former Lille comes forward Liverpool
For several weeks now, the issue related to the renewal of Rafael Leao’s contract, which expires in June 2024, has been on the table at Milan. Contacts between the Rossoneri management and the player’s entourage are very frequent, however, an agreement on the extension has not yet been found. Should, such an agreement not be reached, then the Diavolo would consider selling the 1999 class already in the summer soccer market session in an attempt to monetize as much as possible.
There would be several suitors on the footballer. One of the clubs that has come forward in recent days would be Klopp’s Liverpool, which could revolutionize its attack ahead of next season. As reported by TeamTalk, the English club, in order to lower the Rossoneri’s demands, could include in the operation the tag of Luis Díaz, an old ball of the Diavolo.
However, Milan’s position is clear. Maldini and Massara would be willing to deprive themselves of the Portuguese phenomenon only in front of a cash proposal approaching 120-150 million.
