Milan, Stefano Pioli does not abandon Charles De Ketelaere
The Belgian’s first Rossoneri season was negative
Arriving last summer amid drum rolls, De Ketelaere has largely disappointed. His first Rossoneri season was highly negative. The former Bruges man ended his first year at the Diavolo with 40 appearances (many as a substitute) and no goals (he had scored 18 in his last year with Bruges).
However, Pioli, at the end of the match he won against Hellas Verona, spoke well of the Belgian, in fact granting him a new future chance: “He is a very intelligent and willing boy, he has understood where he has been lacking and where he can give more. It is right that so much is expected, when you play in Milan it is right that there are expectations,” his words to Milan TV. In short, De Ketelaere could remain Rossoneri for next season as well.
