Nando Marino ready to unleash on the market
During the presentation of new coach Fabio Corbani and new sporting director, Belgian Leo De Rycke, Happy Casa Brindisi president Nando Marino drew the line for the near future, on and off the court.
“I have heard all the partners, we will make an extra effort to invest and try to be even more competitive,” he assured. “This is the project, we are ambitious and aware of the high level of the Italian league. We have submitted an application to participate in a European cup, we are convinced that this technical set-up can give us great satisfaction. This is no joke, we will not take any step backward, on the contrary we want to grow more and more.”
The number 1 of the Apulian club then dwelt on the progress for the construction of the New Arena: “The Italian bureaucracy unfortunately grips us, but in spite of this we are moving forward and even yesterday we made another step forward. We are not stopping, we talked with the new Mayor Marchionna, and I thank former Mayor Riccardo Rossi and Sports Councillor Oreste Pinto for giving us a big hand over the years. What was previously a dream will soon become a reality.”
