Through a note, OraSì Basket Ravenna announced that Alessandro Lotesoriere will no longer be the Giallorossi coach next season. After two seasons, the roads of the Romagna club and the coach parted consensually and with great mutual affection.

“The whole Giallorossi world thanks Alessandro for all the seasons in Ravenna, four as an assistant (with a Serie A2 Italian Cup final and a playoff semifinal) and two as head coach, with a Serie A2 Italian Cup semifinal and a playoff semifinal, but above all with the great work he has done with so many young talents. To the coach, who has always distinguished himself for his human qualities and who will also remain strongly linked to the city, a big good luck for his personal and professional future,” the Ravenna club announced.

“After conversations over the last few days, I felt that I wanted to take a step back, as I believe that leadership must be strongly motivated in sharing the starting points at 360 degrees, something that I no longer felt firmly within me, and I believe that, both as a professional and as a fan of this reality, it was incumbent on me to address this feeling,” the coach wrote in a lengthy greeting.
