NL’s last victory was back in 2012

The 2023 MLB All Star Game was staged in Seattle. At the end of a very exciting and full of twists and turns contest, the success went to the National League that won over the American League with the final result of 3-2.

A success, in some ways, historic for the National League, which returns to win the All Star Game after 11 years. The last time, in fact, was back in 2012 (8-0 the final). Great protagonist of the match was Elias Diaz, voted MVP.

The 35-year-old All Star of the Colorado Rockies was instrumental in the National League victory with two run-homers. He is the first Rockies player to win the VP title at an All Star Game. “Unbelievable. When we got here, we talked and we all wanted this win. I never thought I would be so important to bring this win home,” his words reported to ESPN.
