The Italian champion club has reportedly proposed to Spurs a loan with right of redemption to acquire the player. However, Aurelio De Laurentis’ club will have to deal with the high salary received by the player (around 4.5 million euros) and competition from several European clubs, Betis Sevilla and Aston Villa above all.

In addition to the Argentine midfielder, Napoli would be considering other profiles such as Gabri Veiga of Celta Vigo and Lazar Samardzic of Udinese. However, the partenopei would be willing to invest in the market only in case of the sale of Piotr Zielinski, on whom in recent days, a club from the Saudi Premier League would come forward.

Another priority for the Azzurri is to find a new central defender, complicit with the sale of Kim Min-jae to Bayern Munich.
