VR46, Luca Marini has only one goal in mind
Luca Marini’s words ahead of Silverstone
After five long weeks off to recharge his batteries, it’s time to get back to work at Silverstone for the ninth round of the MotoGp season. Luca Marini, sixth in the overall standings with 98 points, is ready to give battle in the British Grand Prix.
Always consistent and the author of a series of really solid Top5 finishes, Valentino Rossi’s brother wants to score his second podium finish of 2023.
“It was a long break, but it was needed! Plus a lot of important things happened and I’m happy because now I’ll be back on track with even more motivation for this second half of the season,” he stressed to the official channels of the Mooney VR46 Racing Team. We come from a series of solid races, where I hit good placings, but maybe something was missing to be there with the top group to play for the positions that matter.”
He then set the goal: “The goal from now until Valencia is this: to continue to work hard, pay attention to details and get closer to the strongest. Silverstone is a very complicated and technical track but we have a very good package to be able to be competitive, we will also try the new change on the format plus the crowd here is always special.”
