Sprint Race Silverstone, Pecco Bagnaia’s disappointment
Here are the statements of Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia, one of the two big disappointments of the Silverstone Sprint Race, starter of the British Grand Prix, in which he placed 14th.
“Right from the reconnaissance lap I knew it was going to be a difficult race,” the reigning Ducati world champion and world championship leader told the microphones of Sky Sport MotoGP, quoted by formulapassion.it, “I couldn’t push under braking, as soon as I tried to be incisive I felt I was in danger of falling.
“It was very strange and now the engineers are working to find an answer to what happened because we were flying this morning, I had never felt so good in the wet as I did this morning. I’m calm because I know our level is absolutely not this, we are always in front playing it both in the dry and in the wet and instead today I just couldn’t push.”
