Day of renewals at Monza: Colpani’s was not the only one.

On the sidelines of the award ceremony of the Trophy dedicated to the memory of Silvio Berlusconi, the latter’s second son, Pier Silvio, took the floor to greet the audience of Milan and Monza fans to dedicate a thought precisely to his father who passed away last June 12.

“For my father, soccer was a great passion, I am sure he would have been very happy tonight,” Pier Silvio Berlusconi said after Milan’s success on penalty kicks (1-1 in the 90th minute, 6-5 after the shots from the penalty spot). “But if soccer was a passion, Milan and Monza were for my dad a matter of the heart, a matter of love. That is why I want to tell you that I am sure he is happy, because his heart is here with all of us.”
