A few days before the resumption of the F1 championship in the Netherlands in Zandvoort, Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff è expressed himself bluntly about the Brackley team’s goals for the second part of the season.

"It's good to get back to work. The summer break è important for everyone to take some well-deserved time off, but we are motorsport gems and we love the thrill of competition. We come back charged up and ready for the second half of the season. There's a lot to fight for and we won&#39t give up. We will push hard in the battle to take second place in the Constructors World Championship. In addition, we will continue the development of the car for 2024" said the Mercedes team principal.

"Zandvoort è a great place to resume the season. It's a very challenging track with an old-school atmosphere. There are elevated turns and high-speed sections undulating through the dunes. There's always an incredible atmosphere among the Dutch fans and it's always a fantastic celebration of our sport. I am sure this year will be no different and I am excited to return to this circuit" added Toto Wolff.
