Basketball, Andrea Cinciarini ready for a new adventure

Former Olimpia captain leaves Reggio Emilia after two seasons

At 37 years old, with a lot of miles in his legs and several trophies in his trophy case (including two Italian Championship titles won with Olimpia Milano), Cinciarini still wants to play. In the last two seasons in Reggio Emilia he è had fun and entertained everyone (best assist-man in the league). Now è he is ready to do it again but not in Italy.

After failing to find a team in Italy willing to bet on his experience, Cinciarini (who also changed agents) decided to try, for the first time in his long career, to play abroad.

There is now talk of an agreement reached with Zaragoza, a team in Spain’s top division. For the best assist-man in Italian basketball history, it would be a new, personal challenge. At 37, Cinciarini knows he can still be useful and wants to prove it away from Italy. After wearing so many jerseys in the Bel Paese, now the strong desire to put himself on the line in Iberian basketball.
