Franco Morbidelli at a press conference in India talked about his joining the Ducati Pramac team in 2024: "In Yamaha I had some difficult moments, when I was hearing feedback from my friends from the VR46 Academy in Ducati and I felt they had a different feeling with the bike than I did in Yamaha. In 2024 we will all have the same bike and we will all talk about the same bike".

Morbidelli comes from difficult years but promises to rise to the occasion: "He will try to learn as quickly as possible to be competitive in Ducati as soon as possible".
