Neven Spahija speaks out on the eve of the first in the league

Neven Spahija, to the official channels of Reyer Venezia, spoke about his team’s prospects both in the first game of the 2023-24 Serie A, scheduled on Sunday against Tortona, and more generally about those in the first part of the season.

"It will be a difficult game against a complete and well-coached team,” began the Orogranata coach. “Last season they had a very good championship, we saw them in this preseason and they did well. They have great quality in all roles, they run a lot and have excellent shooters from the’arc".

"We are ready both mentally and physically, we still have work to do, but no team canò show its best basketball at the first of the season,” he added. “We are on the right track, we have to be patient and continue to work like this".

"We have seven new players that we will need time for,” he admitted in conclusion, “but we are determined to try to win this game. We will play fast and aggressive basketball putting a lot of intensity" in defense, we have more athleticism than last season".
