Ready response to the Lillard hit by the Bucks
In the East it will be a real show. After the trade that brought Lillard to the Bucks, here is the prompt response of the Celtics who have made official the arrival, via Portland, of Holiday. Born in 1990, he is one of the best point guards around with great defensive ability, as evidenced by his three "appearances" on the NBA All-Defensive Team of the year.
With Holiday's inclusion, Boston significantly improves its roster and confirms its will to give Milwaukee's fantastic Antetokounmpo-Lillard duo a run for its money. The feeling è that, in the East, the challenge will be between these two superpowers.
Curiously, Holiday has already won an NBA ring, just with the Bucks jersey in the triumphant 2020/21 season (a franchise with which he è remained for three seasons, before being involved in the resounding trade with Portland in the Lillard deal). Now he will give it a try at the helm of the Celtics.
