Marco Verratti explains his farewell to PSG

"I had a conversation with Luis Enrique, he told me I was not in his plans. È a great coach, he is doing good things with PSG. I didn't see it as a personal decision". In an interview with L'Equipe Marco Verratti explained his farewell to the Parisian club this way.

"I have never had enemies in life, I prefer clear things. He just wanted to change. Everyone has their own vision of the game, I think Luis Enrique needed other players,” added the Pescara midfielder. “I have nothing against him, we had very good relations. Sometimes there are changes and also this è positive".

Verratti now plays in Qatar, in Al-Arabi: "I wanted to have a different experience. I didn't want to go to another team in Europe where I could have faced PSG. Surely the level is not è the same, but I take away other pleasures like helping the league grow and advising teammates".
