Mario Balotelli responds dryly to Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Zlatan Ibrahimovic calls, Mario Balotelli answers
"He had so many chancesà to take his talent into the future but he didn’t take them: so many guys have only one chance, he had many and wasted them, this è the truthà". These are the words, very harsh, that Zlatan Ibrahimovic reserved for Mario Balotelli, during the Swede's speech at the Trento Sports Festival.
Words that came within a short time to the person concerned, who responded with a provocation: on his official Instagram profile, in fact, the striker recently returned to Adana Demirspor posted a photo of himself holding the Champions League trophy, which Ibrahimovic has never won, tagging the Swede and adding three hearts.
Balotelli won the Champions League in an Inter shirt in 2010, crowning the Nerazzurri's historic triplete season. In that season, his last in the Nerazzurri before moving to Manchester City, Balotelli played eight games, also scoring a goal (in the group stage against Rubin Kazan).
The two protagonists of the back-and-forth, who both wore Inter and AC Milan jerseys, crossed paths in the locker room in the Nerazzurri between 2007 and 2009: Ibrahimovic left Inter to settle at Barcelona in the very year the Nerazzurri went on to win the coveted European trophy.
