Then, on Sunday, Dec. 11, under the visibly excited gaze of his parents, young Bronny made his debut for USC after a difficult summer for their family.

The game had special significance, being the first at the collegiate level for the eldest son of the Lakers’ leader, and closed a turbulent chapter for the James family.
