Max Verstappen already goesù flat on the F1 calendar

During an interview with the microphones of "Speedweek", the Dutch Red Bull driver Max Verstappen, among other topics, wanted to express himself bluntly on the F1 calendar, which during the 2023 season è has been the subject of much criticism due to the high number of races and long ticks in very close periods.

"I think this aspect will be è to be improved in the future, but obviously it è not possible to do so in the short term. In my opinion è it's a bit strange to have to get to a place starting from the other side of the world. I think it is not è very sustainable and not only in terms of emissions, but especially in terms of our bodies. Obviously we made these long trips in a short time, but it è not the best" this is the thought of Max Verstappen.

On the same line of thought as the three-time world champion there è also the Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc, who expressed his disappointment with the organization of the F1 calendar, especially on the occasion of the move from the United States to the UAE: "I was so tired that the first night I slept like a baby, so jet lag was not a problem, but if you ask around the paddock, especially the mechanics and engineers, everyone was very tired and struggled a lot during those two weekends. I think that in 2024 it will be even more difficult because we will have three races in a row at the end, so I think it will be necessary to organize more carefully the last part of next season and the next calendars".
