Ralf Schumacher, moving words about brother Michael

"I miss my Michael back then". These are the words of Ralf Schumacher on the eve of the 10th anniversary of the accident involving his older brother Michael. It was the late morning of Dec. 29, 2013, when the iconic man of the 2000s of Ferrari and Formula One was seriously injured in a skiing accident in Méribel, in the French Alps.

The former German driver, who retired permanently in 2012 and will turn 55 on Jan. 3, in violently hitting his head against a rock suffered a serious head injury. Having emerged after several months from an artificial coma, Michael Schumacher no longer è appeared in public and only a few people know the real condition of the Kerpen star.

In his career Michael è was able to win seven world titles, two with Benetton (1991-1995) and as many as five with Ferrari (2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004), and won 91 of the 306 Grand Prix he took part in (also 155 podiums). His younger brother Ralf, 48, raced in Formula 1 in turn, winning six Grands Prix in ten years and twice finishing fourth in the standings.

Speaking to the German newspaper 'Bild', Ralf added, as reported by AGI “Life sometimes è unfair, Michael è was often lucky in his life, but then è this tragic accident happened. Thank God, thanks to modern medical options, è much has been done, but now nothing è as before".
