Olimpia Milano came close to pulling off a feat against Olympiacos. After an extraordinary comeback in the fourth period, the Red Shoes were defeated in a sprint by the Greeks with a score of 79-74. EA7, after a balanced first half, paid for the 45-31 partial in the middle two quarters, making the fourth period won by the meneghini 24-16 in vain.

In the postgame, the assistant coach of the Red Shoes wanted to praise the performance of his boys, despite numerous absences: "This match è was good to watch. We struggled, you know what our injury situation is, è it was really a great contest and we came close to winning it. On the parity we missed some shots and on the other side they scored from three with Williams-Goss and I think at that moment Olympiacos snatched the victory. Congratulations to our team and also to Oly".

With this defeat, Olimpia Milano collected its 11th ko of the season out of 18 games. On the next day, the meneghini will receive Bayern Munich at the Mediolanum Forum. Two-a-side ball Friday, April 5 at 20:30.
