Federica Pellegrini è mom: on Wednesday, January 3, the former swimming champion and her husband Matteo Giunta announced the happy news with a post on Instagram. The new mother gave birth to a baby girl, whom the couple named Matilde. The little girl è was born precisely at 6:51 a.m. on January 3, 2024.

Federica Pellegrini, born in 1988, è was one of the most representative and most successful athletes in Italian sports. Her palmares è is enormous and counts, among other trophies, an Olympic gold and silver medal, six world titles (plus one at the World Championships in short track), seven European titles (and seven more in short track), as well as no less than one hundred and thirty gold medals at the Italian championships.
