Six games were played on NBA night. OKC won the high-scoring clash against Boston (127-123), thanks to a super 40-25 third quarter and 59 combined points from the Gilgeous-Alexander duo and Giddey. In the Celtics’ ranks, the two double-doubles sealed by Porzingis and Tatum were not enough. Victory also for Memphis over San Antonio (106-98), starring the usual Ja Morant (26 points and 10 assists).
Two home wins also came for Philadelphia and Golden State, against Chicago (110-97) and Orlando (121-115), respectively. The 76ers got Joel Embiid back after a four-match layoff and the reigning MVP restarted by sealing another triple-double (31p, 15r, 10a). The Warriors, on the other hand, are dragged by the usual Steph Curry, author of 36 points, and double-digit scoring by six other players.
In the other contests Brooklyn finds its fourth consecutive knockout by falling under the blows of New Orleans (112-85), while Charlotte, thanks to a super fourth quarter and a 34-point Terry Rozier, manages to bring home the W on the court of Sacramento (111-104).
