The words of Luca Banchi on the eve of Alba Berlin-Virtus Bologna

Coach Luca Banchi presented in a press conference the challenge against Alba Berlin, valid for the 19th day of the Euroleague, scheduled for Friday, Jan. 5 at 7 p.m. at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin. ""Alba Berlin è a fresh, athletic and talented team that, especially in home games, manages to bring out its style" stressed the coach of the Biancoeri.

"Meeting them such a short time away, from such a demanding and wearisome competition as è was the one against Bayern, will certainly make our task more arduous – added Banchi -, but we will draw from our roster the necessary resources to play a careful game, focusing on offensive and defensive goals, able to allow us another performance that will make our supporters" proud.

Newly acquired Ante Zizic also spoke ahead of the challenge against the Germans: "Alba è a very dangerous team, they have shown that they can beat anyone, so we have to take every game very seriously and not according to the standings. We have to start focused and control their aggressiveness and stop their transitions. I think it will not be an easy match, especially becauseé è a double week, many guys played several minutes last night and today we are on the road. We will have to be focused and ready to fight".
