On the sidelines of Juventus’ 2-1 victory over Roma in the Italian Super Cup on the neutral field of Cremona, two of the match’s protagonists, captain Lisa Boattin and Swedish player Linda Sembrant, also spoke. Both expressed their pride in clear terms for a trophy that makes the bianconera trophy case even richer.

"It's my first trophy as captain of Juventus,” said Boattin, class of 1997, also a member of the Italian national team, “and for me it is worth double also because I am a Juventus fan, moreover I did it next to Sara Gama, our leader. We worked so hard these days and we strongly wanted this trophy, we are overjoyed".

"It's a really nice trophy,‖ said instead Sembrant, pivot of the defense of the team coached by Joe Montemurro, -we are also overjoyed because we win it after a well-played game. I have always said that I feel at home here and I repeat winning with this jersey è a great honor".

For the women’s section of Juventus, born in 2017, the one won on Sunday è the fourth Italian Super Cup in its history, after those in the 2019, 2020 and 2021 editions. Other trophies won by the bianconere also include five Scudetti (from 2018 to 2022, all consecutive) and three Coppe Italia (2019, 2022 and 2023).
