The words of Marcell Jacobs

Marcell Jacobs gave an interview to 'Style', the Corriere della Sera magazine, in which he è returned to talk about his choice to move to Florida to the court of new coach Rana Reider. "He immediately made a very good impression on me,” he remarked. "He is someone who tells it like it is, without too many turns of phrase, but he also knows how to joke. On a technical level è phenomenal: he explains everything I’m doing, whyé I’m doing it and what it will bring meà".

"I did not and do not intend to move permanently to the United States, but track è a’different thing,” added the Olympic champion. “At some point I felt the need to work with the best coach possible. For a coach it è s not easy to manage an Olympic champion in the’year of the Olympics: Reider has won at least one gold in sprinting since 2004, so he knows how it".

So he unveiled the opponents to beat in 2024: "In my team besides Bromell are Andre De Grasse, Abdul Hakim Sani-Brown, and Jerome Blake: all from the finals. Apart from them I say Noah Lyles, who has also proven to be a very good centerman, and Christian Coleman, very strong in the start".

"I spent my life making decisions thinking about others, then I realized that it didn’t work becauseé pleasing everyone è impossible. So now I make decisions on my own. On the other hand, even if I had stayed in Italy someone would have had something to say about it…" Jacobs closed.
