Olimpia Milano announced on Wednesday the signing, until the end of the season, of Rodney McGruder, a 1991 class guard also seen in the NBA with the uniforms of Miami Heat, LA Clippers and Detroit Pistons. The player has already made his first statements as an Olimpia player, to the club's official channels.

said McGruder. “I can’t wait to get on the court and compete to achieve as many victories as I can. I am excited to be here".
Satisfaction with the successful conclusion of the deal è was expressed by Olimpia general manager Chistos Stavropoulos: "Entering the decisive phase of the season,” he said, “we have decided to make our external department deeper with an athletic player with the technical and character traits that should fit well with our needs".
Born and raised in Landover, Maryland, Rodney McGruder attended Archbishop Carroll High School in Washington and then transferred to Jacksonville, Florida. Instead, he attended college at Kansas State, distinguishing himself on the floor at the NCAA tournament level. From there, his professional experience, which in addition to the NBA has seen him involved in Hungary and the G-League.
