Ducati, Paolo Ciabatti goes against the grain over Marc Marquez

During an interview with the Spanish daily "Marca", former Ducati Corse sport director Paolo Ciabatti wanted to comment on statements made by Marc Marquez regarding his own rainbow ambitions ahead of his debut riding the Ducati of Team Gresini.

"Marc is probably just trying to calm expectations a little bit, but I think he will adapt very quickly to the bike. All the riders have adapted very well to the Ducati, even with different riding styles between them, managing to win podiums and win races. So Marquez will be one of the riders who will play for the world championship. In the tests I saw him very well, but he will have to comfirm himself in the tests in Sepang and Qatar" began the'former sports director of Ducati Corse.

"We are talking about an outstanding rider, who has won six world championships in MotoGP and eight in total. This is one of the best in the history of motorcycling. Ducati has had great success with its current riders and I am sure he will beà super competitive and also fighting for the championship" concluded Paolo Ciabatti about Marc Marquez.
