Anthony Gobert has è passed away. He was hospitalized and had been receiving palliative care for days. Making the sad announcement on his own social media è was his mother, Suzanne. "He had a big heart, ready to take care of everyone. For this I am proud of him" the woman wrote.
Eight total victories in Superbike for Gobert, who in 1997 landed in MotoGP to race with Suzuki: troubled months, in which he was disqualified for doping and then fired by the Japanese manufacturer.
Gobert was born in Greenacre, Australia, on March 5, 1975. A few days ago his brothers Aaron and Alex had let it be known that their relative’s health condition was now compromised.
