Juventus richest club in Italy, better than Milan and Inter Milan

In the 27th edition of the Football Money League, the study conducted by Deloitte that analyzes the revenues of football clubs for the 2022-23 season, important data on Italian soccer emerges. Despite growth, Italian clubs are still far from the European'élite, especially from an economic point of view.
Juventus, first among Italian teams, ranks 11th overall. Although it maintains its position compared with the previous year, it registers a remarkable 8 percent increase in revenues to 432 million euros.
AC Milan è in a remarkable rise, moving from position 16 to 13, with a 50 percent increase in revenues that translate to 385 million euros. Inter retains its position at 14° place with €379 million (+23%), while Napoli è one of the three new entries in the rankings, coming in at 19° place with €267 million (+71%). In addition, Olympique Marseille è another new entry in the top 20.
The overall ranking è is dominated by Real Madrid, which leads the Money League for the first time since 2018 with record revenues of 831 million euros, registering an increase of 118 million over the previous year. Manchester City è in second place with 825 million, followed by Paris Saint-Germain (801) and Barcelona (800), with the latter gaining three positions from the previous year. The top 10 teams also include Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal.
Overall, the twenty clubs surveyed totaled revenues of 10.5 billion euros, registering a 14 percent increase over the previous season. The main growth drivers were match revenues (1.9 billion) and commercial revenues (4.4 billion), surpassing television revenues. Seventeen of the 20 teams saw an increase in commercial revenues, thanks to improved retail sales, off-field events, and the recovery of some sponsorship revenues previously affected by the pandemic.
