It ended with Stephanie Venier winning the downhill in Cortina d'Ampezzo. The Austrian skier posted the best time of 1’33”06, ahead of Lara Gut-Behrami and Sofia Goggia, who were 39 and 71 hundredths apart, respectively. Also closing with the same chrono as the Bergamasque were Christina Ager of Austria and Canadian Valerie Greiner.
Good sixth place for Laura Pirovano, distant 91 hundredths from Venier. Completing the top 10: Kajsa Vickhoff Lie (Norway), Cornelia Huetter (Austria), Mirjam Puchner (Austria) and Joana Haehlen (Switzerland). Closing behind the top 10, however, was Marta Bassino, who placed 11th, 1.12 behind the leader. Also finishing in the top 30 are Nicol Delago (19), Nadia Delago (23), Roberta Melesi (24) and Teresa Runggaldier (26).
The Cortina downhill, in addition, è also featured several falls, including those of Federica Brignone and Mikaela Shiffrin, who è was taken to the hospital for a possible injury to her left knee.
