Genoa, the strike in attack canò arrive from Marseille

Genoa continues its search for an attack reinforcement. In particular, the Rossoblù è management is working to give coach Alberto Gilardino a deputy Retegui. According to reports from Sky Sport, in the last hours the Ligurian club has set its eyes on a new striker: it is Vitinha, class 2000, owned by Marseille.

The two clubs are in contact to find an understanding: the idea of the Grifone è that of a loan with right of redemption, set at 25 million euros. In addition, Genoa would also like to include in the deal the early redemption of Ruslan Malinovskyi, currently on loan to the Rossoblù just from the French club.

Vitinha, bought from Braga a year ago for a sum of 30 million euros, has so far played 43 games in the Olympique Marseille jersey, netting 6 goals and 4 assists among all competitions.

The soccer market window will end on Thursday, Feb. 1, at 8 p.m., with the classic closing of the doors, often the subject of rather embarrassing scenes, which will take place at the Sheraton hotel in Milan. So there are still more than two weeks left for domestic clubs to improve the staff available to their coaches.
