Santiago Castro from Velez to Bologna

Bologna announced on Tuesday the arrival to the Rossoblù of Santiago Castro, a 19-year-old forward from Velez Sarsfield, a club in Argentina’s top division. This is the first experience in Europe for the young striker, who had made his professional debut in the ranks of Velez after completing the youth ranks.

He can è play either as a sole striker or paired with another striker, on more occasions he has also played as an offensive outside player. Santiago Castro arrives at Bologna after playing a total of 64 games with Velez Sarsfield, scoring on nine occasions.
