The Council Hall of Pesaro City Hall hosted today the press conference for the presentation of Italy-Turkey, a match valid for the qualification to the European Championship that in the summer 2025 will be played between Riga, Limassol, Tampere and Katowice.

Game two tomorrow at Vitrifrigo Arena in Pesaro (8:30 p.m., live DAZN, Sky Sport and Now) against coach Ergin Ataman’s Turkey, then the trip to Szombathely against Hungary (Feb. 25 at 6 p.m., live DAZN, Sky Sport and Now). Also part of Group B is Iceland, which will receive Hungary at home on Thursday and then visit Turkey on Sunday. The top three finishers in the group qualify for the European Championships.

"Pesaro binds me to a special memory – said on the eve Nicolò Melli -, in 2011 I came here on loan from Pesaro and for me è it was like being reborn, becauseé I was greeted by so much affection. Tomorrow making my debut as captain right here in Pesaro will have a special flavor. I thank the president for his words for me. Tomorrow we will face Turkey with maximum concentration, it will be a complicated match but we know that there will be a great audience and we want to repay them in the best way.
