The words of Benedict Vigna

Benedetto Vigna, CEO of Ferrari, spoke on the occasion of the’inauguration of the academic year of the’University of Pisa: "My university taught me the scientific method, the management of complexityà and complication, the innovative spirit. These are concepts that I have always put into practice in my professional life, for example in the plan for sustainability that we are implementing in Ferrari".

"We need to keep these lessons in mind in order to free ourselves from voluntary servitude to the wrong use of technology, which cannotò and should not replace the human mind", continued the CEO of the Prancing Horse.

"It must be our critical thinking that guides us toward progress through a continuous learning process that must treasure even our failures. The extreme pursuit of perfection is meaningless: what matters è instead, we must seek excellence in order to grow. Innovation è that which transforms know-how into dollars, however, is not democratic because not everyone can see it and in any case requires energy and resilience".
