Carpegna Prosciutto Basket Pesaro has announced that Leonardo Totè, a 1997-class pivot under the Marche-based club, suffered a sprained-concussive injury to his right elbow during the game against UNAHOTELS Reggio Emilia, played last Sunday and won by the Emilians 87-69. The Negrar-born basketball player will therefore remainà out in a key period of the championship, with the team currently in the relegation zone.

Regarding the nature of the injury, diagnostic tests and clinical evaluations revealed a tear in the joint capsule and an injury to the ulnar ligament of the red-and-white basketball player. As a result, the medical staff predicted a recovery period of four weeks.

The company, as reported in the press release issued Tuesday, is considering taking action in the market to avoid being left uncovered under the boards. Awaiting Pesaro, in the championship, there will be two consecutive away games that will say a lot about the Marche’s salvation ambitions: on March 30 they will play at PalaVerde against Treviso, on April 7 they will instead be on stage at PalaSerradimigni against Sassari.
