Milan: a new name pops up for deputy Hernandez

AC Milan è is always looking for a full-back capable of serving as a deputy Theo Hernandez and reinforcing the Rossoneri team’s left lane. The latest name to end up on Moncada's notebook is that of Patrick Dorgu, an up-and-coming left-back from Lecce. Player of the Danish national Under-21 team and currently with the Salentini, he has caught the attention of Rossoneri scouts, so much so that he has been included in the list of potential signings for next summer by Moncada and D’Ottavio. This was reported by calciomercato.com.

Born in 2004, Dorgu è was discovered in Italy by Pantaleo Corvino, then manager of Lecce, who picked him up on loan with the right of redemption from Nordsjaelland in the summer of 2022, for a modest sum of 200 thousand euros.

The Apulian club then exercised the right of redemption, and now his valuation is between 4 and 5 million euros, suggesting a significant increase in his value on the market. He has proven to be a growing player, already accumulating 21 appearances and 1 goal in Serie A this season.

His young age, potential and convincing performances make him an intriguing option to strengthen the defensive department. Dorgu counts one appearance in the Danish Under-21 national team. In Serie A Dorgu scored a goal against Fiorentina last February.
