Guglielmo Bosca blows Innerhofer out of the water for the scudetto

Guglielmo Bosca won the Italian SuperG title on the final day of the first phase of the Absolute, dedicated to speed, on the Schoneben slope in Sarentino, in the province of Bolzano. The 30-year-old from the Centro Sportivo Esercito stopped the stopwatch on’1’06″52 to win in this way’the second tricolor title of his career after the one obtained in 2017 in the alpine combined. On the podium with him are the two Yellow Flames bearers Christof Innerhofer and Giovanni Franzoni, detached respectively by 0″20 and 0″26.
Fourth time of the day then for the’other financier Luca De Aliprandini (+0″40), with Giovanni Borsotti (Carabinieri) and Maximilian Ranzi (Fiamme Oro) paired in fifth place with a delay of 0″60 from Bosca.

Tenth place allowed the Friulian Emanuele Buzzi (Carabinieri) to score a stage success in the Dicoflor Italian Grand Prix, a circuit dedicated to athletes not included in national teams. For the youth category, the best of the day in the circuit è turned out to be Francesco Zucchini (Prad Raiffeisen Werbering) from Como, who thanks to his 14th overall time at 1″14 from Bosca è left behind Lorenzo Vincenzi (2000 Ski Club, 20th at 1″62) and Pietro Broglio (Esercito), 22nd at 1″68.

The Italian Absolute Championships will continue in Val Senales (Bolzano) between Wednesday, April 3, and Saturday, April 6, with the technical disciplines offering in the’order women’s giant and slalom, followed by men’s slalom and giant slalom.
