Grigor Dimitrov wants to play a prank on Jannik Sinner

An opponent to be taken with a grain of salt. At the age of 33, Grigor Dimitrov, with 9 tournament wins and a peak at No. 3 in the world rankings in 2017 after his ATP Finals success, boasts an impressive resume. However, he è failed to emerge as an absolute star of world tennis in the era dominated by Federer, Nadal, Murray and Djokovic. His career è has been an alternation of successes and setbacks, never achieving stability in results.

Recently the Bulgarian has experienced a period of renewed success, capped by his victory in Brisbane in January, which marked his first title in seven years and a return to the top 10 after six years. Landing in the final in Miami he warned his next rival, Jannik Sinner: "The job is not è finished here but in general beating the best tennis players consistently is worth more than any ranking. In the end you know that ranking comes through successes, in the last twelve months sometimes è it was difficult but I always worked and believed".

"I never lost sight of my goal and every week I set small goals, waking up in the morning and not feeling any pain è for me a great achievement”.added Dimitrov.
